It’s been four weeks. I’m currently at page 53, and so far I haven’t heard anything from the (so-called) Comeback Kid. Come on, Trey, let’s make this contest at least a little interesting. So far it seems like I’m the only one writing anything!

In other news, I’m still not a loser.

After a week or so of being in the bad-old-days of no Internet access, I’m back.  Now to get back on my way toward page 52.

So, in spite of not currently having Internet access at home, I’ve managed to complete my third week of 13 pages and have uploaded that.  I’m now at 39 pages, Trey.  Where are you?

Well Ryan has hit the ground running so hard that he’s blistering the pavement (and my hopes of winning) behind him. Yes, he has outpaced me in the first two weeks of the challenge, and yes, I have to add $20 to the pot. But this is Round 3, the number that is my name, and I’m known for my comebacks. So rest assured Ryan is in for the (writing) challenge of his life. This race is hardly over.

It’s almost deadline, but I’m finally at page 26.  This past week has been strange and busy, but I’m still not a loser.  I guess we’ll find out how Trey did pretty soon.

Week One of the Omega13 Story Challenge 2007 is complete, and the current winner is RYAN at 13 pages. Trey is a loser and only managed to write 6 pages before playing with AfterEffects.

Next week Ryan has to get to page 26, while Trey has to get to at least page 19.

We’re doing something new! For the next 60 days we’re challenging each other to write screenplays. We’ve each picked storylines for the other, and we have a quota of 13 pages per week. By the end of April, whoever has a finished screenplay wins. Wins what, you say? Well, we’re not gambling, but we’ve got an agreed upon sum in this and the winner either gets the cash, or something bought with the cash. The loser gets shame, ridicule, and maybe a concussion.

I just have to make sure I don’t lose.
