Just a quick update to explain our recent silence — not that too many of you have probably noticed.

A lot of things are currently changing behind the scenes, and we’ve both been way too busy to prepare a regular “on the nines” post.   Things should be settling down again soon, so it shouldn’t be too much longer before we rave about expensive cameras and film production, or the future of media.

Oh, and there may even be some new stuff, too.

I don’t mean to belittle our enthusiasm over the technological wonder that is the RED Camera and its forthcoming progeny the Scarlet camera. Yes, for independent filmmakers this technology gives us a competitive option to play along the likes of a full feature film for a fraction of the budget.
