I sort of disagree with the idealistic and utopian overtones of these. I agree that the next major cultural shift is to an information society. Perhaps not an information economy, but a world where information isn’t tied a specific format, physical or electronic — celluloid, paper, optical disc, or file format. That, above all else, is what I see as the key to an open information society.

There are a lot of specific things in these videos I think are evolving right now. We’re already shifting into an information society, and I think an information economy will follow. How quickly it will follow, I don’t know. Technology will be the big determiner!

Of course, there are a few spots where the translation becomes comical. But the cool accent outweighs that!

Does it inspire anyone to START ON THE SCRIPT for anything? Really now… I have no idea what I’m doing so a certain fedora-clad man is going to have to get it going.

What makes you think any of us knows what we’re doing? It certainly never stopped Ryan or I in the past. Try jumping in yourself. I think you’ll actually like it! Also, why haven’t you posted “the announcement” yet?

Didn’t Ryan already post it? What else is there to say?

There’s an unpublished, untitled post sitting in the que with your name on it.

Hey, wait a minute! Why aren’t you commenting about the post these comments pertain?!

Oh, sorry. I’ll get right on that… As soon as I watch the videos.

On the technical side, I really enjoyed these videos. They were done well. The second video brings up a good point that communication (good communication, I guess) is integral to changing the minds of the masses. It is also important in control and subjugation. This is why God confused the languages; if humans could/would all communicate easily, we could accomplish anything. How’s that, Trey?

Yes. That’ll suffice. Post a comment
